I've been telling Marty for years that Newstips rocks
To be blunt, Newstips is one of the few PR newsletters I do read -- and I've been reading it since my supervising editor told me to ignore Marty at my peril (that is, somewhere in the vicinity of a decade). I'm glad he's stuck around and I wish there were more PR folk like him. In a world where blunderbuss-style spamming of editors passes as "guerilla marketing," I can always trust Marty to be focused, diligent, and intelligent. And he's been around long enough to know the market; if Marty tells me that a product has unique qualities, I know he's not blowing smoke.
Until we're finally allowed to have Marty cloned, I fear his type is all too rare. Count me as yet another regular reader.
